Minister of Culture  meets Moroccan Ambassador to Cairo to discuss enhancing cultural cooperation between the two countries

Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanou, Minister of Culture, met Ambassador Mohamed Ait Ouali, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Egypt, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the cultural and artistic fields.

The two sides discussed the importance of exchanging art exhibitions, hosting joint cultural events, organizing artistic workshops, and participating in cultural and artistic events and festivals in both countries, as well as exchanging expertise in cultural heritage preservation.

Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanou said that we are proud of the historical relations between Egypt and Morocco, and we believe that cultural cooperation is a fundamental pillar for strengthening the official ties between the two countries. Through this partnership, we seek to revive the shared cultural heritage and enhance dialogue between the two cultures," noting that culture and arts represent a bridge of communication as an effective way of continuity of fruitful relations.

For his part, Ambassador Mohamed Ait Ouali stressed the importance of the meeting, praising the solid relations between Morocco and Egypt.

Ait Al Ouali noted that Morocco-Egypt connections extend beyond geographical borders to include significant cultural and civilizational ties. We hope to strengthen cooperation, demonstrate the importance of culture in promoting mutual understanding, and broaden the scope of cooperation between the two countries." He emphasized that this meeting represents the desire to expand relations in all areas, particularly in culture and the arts.
