For supporting the young talents in all regions of Egypt, The General Organization of Culture Palaces, headed by Dr. Ahmed Awwad, organized a festivity to distribute the rewards of the competition "The Hero Tells" prepared by Mohammed Mohammed Mustafa in Saad Al-Din Wahba Hall.
The competition is held in cooperation with :- The General Organization of Culture Palaces , Radio Cultural Program , The National Center for Translation, The National Theater, The Supreme Council For Culture, The General Library of Egypt. The ceremonies are attended by :- Mamdouh Abu Yousef, Head of The Central Administration for Cultural Affairs, Dr. Anwar Maghith, The Head of The National Center for Translation.
For his part, , Mr. Yasser Zaki, The Director of The Scientific Programs Department of The Radio Cultural Program, confirmed that since the establishment of Radio Cultural Program in 1957 years , it has been playing an important role. Meanwhile , Mohamed Ismail, The Director General of the Cultural Program, launched the competition in a sincere and fruitful cooperation with The General Organization of Culture Palaces. In his speech, Mamdouh Abu Yousef congratulated the winners of the competition, which was the fruit of the cooperation between all the Egyptian cultural institutions. He wished to continue cooperating with Radio Culture Program .
In his speech, Dr. Anwar Moughith expressed his happiness with the participation of the Center in this celebration, pointing to this competition to present the public culture through radio channels , which still occupy a high position among this number of modern technological means.
As for Riad Tahir , he assured that the General Library of Egypt interested in the promotion of reading , and it possessed 23 branches and the network of libraries are visited by one million citizens, adding that it is time to have some kind of partnerships and cooperation with the cultural program in the field of printed books.
As for Sherif Abdel Wahab, he hoped that this cooperation would continue, and he proposed to hold a competitions in translation, monodrama and short story. Meanwhile , The writer Mohamed Mohammed Mustagab referred to the idea of the competition to be the flags of Egyptian culture in the fields of novel, story, film and theater, and to be an attempt to return to listen to the radio, to raise the awareness and to guide generations through its numerous programs.
In his speech, The writer Mohamed Abdel Hafez Nasif, The Head of the Competitions Committee of The Supreme Council of Culture, stressed that this partnership between the sectors of The Ministry of Culture achieves an integrated cultural system, otherwise each sector will work in isolation without any successful output .
After distributing the rewards , series of poems were delivered including :- "Al Nile Musafer" for the poet Abdul Sattar Salim-, "Ah Yakhi" for the poet Sayed Anaba, ,followed by presenting a concert for the singer Fouad Fouad – the grand daughter of Sheikh Abulela Mohamed – she sang many songs for Umm Kulthum.
It is worthy of note that the winners also received a series of publications of The General Organization of Culture Palaces , in addition to an invitations to attend the play " Lyla Min Alf Lyal " in The National Theater
