National Folk Art Troupe In The Canadian History Museum In Ottawa

  Within the framework of the activities of the Egyptian Heritage Month in Canada and  in cooperation between the Ministries of Culture, Antiquities ,Immigration and  Egyptians Affairs Abroad and Social Solidarity, The National Folklore Troupe – subjected to  the Ministry of Culture - presented its concerts at The Canadian History Museum in Ottawa. The concert  was attended by more than 30 of university professors, in addition to Egyptian students and more than 500 guests in the Canadian capital. The troupe was received by Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, Ambassador of Egypt to Canada and his wife, expressing his great appreciation for the great cooperation provided by the Ministry of Culture and  Dr. Enas Abdel-Dayem , Minister of Culture who facilitated the procedure of The National Folkloric Troupe  travel to Canada and who has  high level of coordination among the members of the teamwork: - the Egyptian Canadian Cultural Association , the Embassy in Ottawa in Montreal . This concert was held to conclude this celebration with such a wonderful level of success. Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid presented a praised the history of the Troupe  and the great performance that  represented the  different regions and governorates of  Egypt. the National Art Ensemble presented shows that attracted the attention  and admiration of a large number of the Egyptian community in Ottawa who expressed their desire of the Canadian  to hold  more cultural events every year. For his part, The Egyptian ambassador said that the Egyptian community in Canada participated the Egyptian  cultural activities . He praised the professional level of all the members of The National Folklore Troupe which started its career more than forty years ago At the end of the ceremony, The National Folkloric Troupe , led by Dr. Mahmoud Sabry presented the shield of The Artistic House to  Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid

“ Lovers' Massages " Will Be Presented Soon On Al- Dayem  Theater

Director Mohamed Ibrahim prepares the theatrical show  " Lovers' Massages " - produced by The Comedy - Theater Ensemble of the Artistic House Theater, which is expected to be iaugurated in August on Al- Ayem stage in Manial. The show starring Mufid Ashour, Wael Shaheen, Zeinab Al Abd, Taghreed Abdel Rahman, Saher Rida, George Ashraf, Abdulla Saber, Composer and Singer Al Halbawi, Hiba Hameed Abdel Hamid, Lighting Mohammed Ibrahim, Animation Design, Antar Mohammed Ibrahim.. It is worthy of note that the show  is a romantic comedy with Sufi poems and animation drama that present  the  problems usually happen between the  couples, with  an attempt to solve them through messages for the great poet  Jalaluddin Rumi . The play resembles  cinematic situation on stage and a call for positive energy in life and an access to the common sense of love.

First August Is the Deadline Of Submitting to “Ana El Masry - I Am Egyptian” Competition

  The application , for the "Ana El Masry" Competition for national song for youth,  is available untill  1 st  August, the competition is launched by Cultural Production Sector , under the auspices of Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture. On last  June and under the supervision of  director Khaled Galal, the second season of "Ana El Masry -I Am Egyptian " Competition for the national song for youth. The competition will be held in the branches of Singing, Compositing, Music Distribution. It is worthy of note that :- The first winner will receive a prize of LE 20,000, The second winner will receive a prize of  LE 15,000 .  The third winner will receive a prize of  LE 10,000.   The contest conditions are:- The age is not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years. The candidate should be the contestant has the right to participate with two works . The length of the song should not  be less than 4 minutes and not more than 10 minutes. The contestant should  present an approval  from the teamwork to the participation  . The contestant work should not have won in any competition before. The artwork should be completely presented as a national song:- lyrics - melody – singing-  on ​​DVD with 3 copies.   It is worthy of note that the participation form is available  in  the headquarters of The Cultural Production Affairs Department in  The Opera House. Note:- the  subscription is free of charge. The application forms are also free for those who want to participate in the competition. The sector aims at  providing  artistic  services to the public and  to discover a new talented and creative generation.

Child Culture Organizes Training Courses To Discover And Develop Children's Talents  

  The National Center For Child Culture, headed by writer Mohammed Nasif, presented a series of specialized training courses for children to discover their talents and develop their artistic and creative skills. Last Monday , the courses began with organizing "Creative Photography" course at the Jair Anderson Museum (Beit Al Kartalia). It will be contiue until next Thursday,  in where the children will learn how to creatively visualize the archaeological cultural element,  in addition to giving them information about the museum and its contents and history. The National Center for Child Culture has started implementing a new cultural plan prepared by the writer Mohammed Nasif , head of  the Center , to  organize number of specialized training courses for children, in cooperation with The Ministry of Antiquities for three days to learn how to make ceramic paste and how to use it to make artistic and souvenir forms. Furthermore, in the Ibn Tulun Mosque in Sayeda Zeinab, Al-Khalifa and Moqattam children schools have  participated in this course.

The artistic house of folk and theatrical arts , headed by  Dr. Adel Abdu is preparing for  the dramatic show " Sihr Al- Ahlam - " directed by Dr. Hossam Atta to be launched soon on Al- Balloon Theater. Sihr Al- Ahlam is produced by the National Folk Music Ensemble led by Dr. Osama Zaghloul , staring the artists Magdi Fekri, Inas Makki, Niven Rifaat, Abdel Aati Saleh, Reza Ramzy, Mohamed Antar, Omnia Fathy, Yasser Hassan and a group of young people, music distribution by Amr Abdel-Qahta, scenes of Ahmed Badr Khan, supervision of Dr. Ahmed Refaat.

Cultural And Historical Monuments of  Cairo In The library of Islamic Civilization

  On the occasion of the 1050th National Day of Cairo Governorate, The Islamic Civilization Library – subjected to  the Cultural Production Sector, headed by Khaled Galal, held a seminar on archaeological and cultural monuments in Cairo on the last Sunday at the library of the castle . The symposium was lectured by Dr. Mohamed Salah Jamali, founder of the Ibn Battuta Egyptian Initiative for the Promotion of Internal Tourism, the  symposium was attended by  number of students of Al Khalifa schools. Jamali highlighted the history of Cairo city and its archaeological and cultural landmarks. He spoke about the most important historical figures , assuring  the importance of organizing visits and study trips for students of schools and universities.

“Arabic Books Inspired The World “  New publication of The  Book Organization

  The Egyptian General Book Organization, headed by Dr. Haitham Al-Haj, recently published a book entitled"Arabic Books Inspired the World" by Sameh Kareem. The book is divided into six chapters discussing several topics that present aspects of the Arab-Islamic civilization and its golden age influence on the world . The first chapter deals with literature  stories, novels and poetry criticism studies. The criticism section  includes two sections: literary criticism and intellectual criticism The second chapter deals with the arts generally, such as musical, lyrical, architecture, construction, and others. The third chapter is  devoted to the sciences of humanity :- philosophy, psychology, geography, history, economics, politics, and society. The fourth chapter deals with the sciences of :-  medicine, pharmacy, chemistry, physics, crafts, industries, traditional and other medical treatments for treating some diseases, as well as some types of surgery.  The book concludes with the biography of the great figures  of the Arab Islamic civilization, such Al- Kanady , Al- Farabi, Ibn Sina, Ibn Rushd, Ibn Khaldun and the others in the Middle Ages. The book consists of  341 pages.

Abu Capsule Is Presented On Perm Al- Tunsie Theater  In Alexandria Next Sunday Due to the hit of  "Abu Capsule" spectacle,   produced by Alexandria Theater Troupe  - subjected to the Artistic House of Theater,  The show will continue on the large AL -Ayem Stage in Al-Manial. The show will present its last night  on Thursday, 11 July, However, it  will return to Perm Al- Tunsie Theate in Alexandria on Sunday 14 July and will continue for  15 night the show starts at 9pm. The show is a social comedy about the inventor of a capsule that when the person takes it , he will feel full Saturation. The stars of the show are:-  Mustafa Abu Seree, Safaa Jalal, Hassan Abdel Fattah, Amr Abdel Aziz, Islam Abd El Shafie, Mohamed El Kouty and the Alexandria Ensemble. Ayman al-Turki, Mustafa Abu Suri poetry, decoration and clothes Wael Abdulla, lighting of Ibrahim El-Furn, dances by Mohamed Mezzo, by Mohamed El Sawaf, directed by Mohamed Morsi.

The National Theater Presents  A Critical Study of "Noah Al- Hamam " Next Friday

The National Center for Theater, Music and Folklore, headed by the artist Yasser Sadeq, will present the first critical studies that will be presented on  “The theater's Artistic House” at Sharhane Sabri street , Zamalek at  at 9:00 pm on Friday, 12 July. The ceremonies will be attended by all the actors participating in the play - produced by Al- Taleea  Theater Troupe led by artist Shadi Sorour- in addition to the  poet and theater critic Mohamed Bahgat, head of the theater department and editor of Al-Ahram newspaper, theater critic Gerges Shukri, deputy editor of Radio and Television magazine and the researcher Mohamed Hussein.

Sketches And Coloring Workshops in The culture palaces Organization

The General Organization of Culture Palaces - The Central Administration of  Studies and Research,  has organized a number of artistic and cultural activities, - Al- Shouhada Culture Palace organized a cultural entertainment day for children in Hdanet Al kalaa , in addition to narration workshop entitled "wise men of the jungle",  supervised by Riham Nabil . Ahmed Bahaa El Din culture palace  holds  a cultural symposium on "renunciation of violence and extremism" , in addition to  the implementation of a plastic arts workshop, The Child Culture Palace in Kufr Tesfa city organizes a workshop entitled "The Arab Legacy in French Culture" to explain a simplified overview of the history of French culture and its most prominent symbols and the Arab influence during the Middle Ages in Europe. Kafr El-Shorafa Culture Palace prepared a cultural and artistic day within the summer program in Noor Al-Bayan Nursery. Garden City Children's Palace organizes an entertainment day at the Bem Bem School for Intellectual Education. It includes workshops on "customs and positive behaviors," using colored beads, paperwork handcrafts, plastic arts for free drawing using fluorescent colors, plus, Fine Arts Bus organize a visiting tour for the children  of Al-Maadi to visit the palace of Mohammed Ali in Manial.

The National Center For Translation Launches A Series of Specialized Courses In translation Soon.

The National Center  For Translation Launches A Series of Specialized Courses In translation Soon. The National Center for Translation witnesses  a major activity, offering a wide range of training courses in the coming period. Dr. Anwar Mghith, Director of the Center, said that  in order to continue the role of the Enlightenment to support the  translation movement and young translators, it was decided to intensify the training courses in the coming period. He added that the center  tried to overcome all the obstacles to organize the largest number of courses and workshops, aiming at  creating a new generation of young translators and encouraging young people to translate through courses and workshops to help them to start and complete their translation projects. The courses are held in the training hall of the center, equipped with  technological tools  to provide specialized courses in English translation, literary translation, English scientific translation, French translation, German translation, general translation into Spanish. The dates of courses and workshops will be announced soon . It should be noted that the Center had recently launched a training course in public translation on French for university students, which will be held  on 14 July.
